I’m literally my own best friend like I have inside jokes with myself and sometimes I’ll think something funny and start laughing out loud at how funny I am

"What are your plans after Night Vale?"

  • Joseph Fink & Cecil Baldwin, together: Death.
  • Joseph Fink: I mean, I guess that's not so much a plan, but...
  • Cecil Baldwin: Inevitable.

I decided on “Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland” because I remember loving it as an 8-year-old but nothing else about it whatsoever.

This movie is fucked up

I both like and dislike this movie. On the one hand, why is Nemo chosen to be the King’s heir? The King has a daughter! She should be the heir. Clearly he’s just been imported so the princess has someone to marry, which is weird because they’re both like nine.

But I like it because the King is clearly gay for Professor Genius. (Props for the creative name, too.)

Trying to decide what to watch tonight, and it’s a 50/50 toss-up for Nero Wolfe or The Evil Dead. Don’t ask me where those interests coincide; I’m not sure they do.

Hm. Maybe Disney as a compromise. Been a while since I watched a The Hunchback of Notre Dame - Tbh though, as a kid I was confused why Esmerelda didn’t end up with the titular character. That’s what always happens in movies, so I was confused when it didn’t happen in that one.

Later, I learned that beautiful women don’t end up with disfigured people in movies, kind of like black and white people or fat and skinny people or same sex people don’t get together.

Luckily this is starting to change, and thank god. Romantic in movies is historically pretty dull. White guy gets white girl. Bleh.

I sat down at my computer to order Papa John’s, and my resume cover letter was on the screen. I went “Don’t close out the screen. Don’t close out the screen. Don’t —” and as I scrolled to create a new tab for Papa John’s, I clicked too soon and hit the “Home” button and my cover letter was whisked away D’OH

Thank you Google for saving my email for me. Need any sexual favors? I gotcha man. You’re the best.

I’m doing an obligatory waiting period before I hit send on this resume. Maybe in 1 hour I will look at it and discover I’ve spelled “skills” wrong throughout or something

girls being kept out of the sciences and pushed into the humanities; the humanities being valued less in our society than the sciences; and the humanities and sciences being looked at as stark opposites that couldn’t possibly be enjoyed for the same reasons are all problems that need to in some degree be tackled together

My sister, who is physically “attractive” by current western cultural standards, because this is something important to her, showed up for a Math Club meeting her first week at college. She recounted that the Math Club was made up of ten men and one woman. The resident woman, a bright young engineer in the making I’m sure, happened to be less concerned about her looks than my sister.

So, as soon as she walked in, the men of this club immediately focused on Sis and seemed very enthusiastic about her being there. The resident, “senior” woman immediately reacted negatively to her, standoffish — “an alpha female detecting a threat to her position” were Sis’s exact words. Sis didn’t want to be a threat, naturally - she just enjoys math.

Sis reported that during the course of the meeting, new, great club plans for the coming year were discussed, and one attentive guy called her “a good luck charm” on account of this.

She did not go back to Math Club. As of now she’s actually changed her major to accounting.

reasons to play skyrim:

  • interspecies and gay marriage is allowed (you can be a lizard guy and marry a werewolf dude if you want)
  • you can kill things by yelling at them
  • you can punch bears
  • you can secretly shove 100 potatoes in someone’s pocket
  • there are lizard furry porn books scattered all across the place

Yes shove all the potatoes into pockets

This is great it’s like all my kinks in one
